Crazy Horse leather is a full-grain hide finished with a pull-up wax. Thick yet supple, every piece is cut and stitched entirely by hand. Caring for Your Crazy Horse Leather
Crazy Horse leather asks for very little. A few simple habits keep it supple and protected, and let it develop the rich, uneven patina that makes every piece one of a kind.
A soft cloth is enough
Dust it weekly with a soft, dry cloth; a barely damp one lifts light residue. Skip harsh cleaners and solvents — this leather doesn't need much help.
Feed it twice a year
Every 3–6 months, work in a thin layer of natural leather balm or wax. A little goes a long way — over-conditioning saturates the fibers and darkens the tone unevenly.
Most marks buff right out
Rub a scuff gently with a fingertip or soft cloth — the friction warms the wax and blends the mark back into the surface. For stubborn spots, a hairdryer on low heat softens the wax before buffing.
Keep it away from prolonged soaking and direct heat, and let it air dry naturally if it ever gets wet. Treat it well, and it will only look better with time.
